How R.I.E. Can Benefit Existing Groups
Thanks to the feedback of our brave and playful participants, we've come to realize that what we're doing does not only serve as a wonderful personal practice, but provides an opportunity for already existing groups to build community while nourishing their individual members. Because of this, we are currently offering R.I.E. as a self-contained experiential workshop to groups, organizations and communities. If you are a member of (or know of) a group that might benefit from one or more R.I.E. sessions (each lasting 2 and 1/2 hours), please let us know! It would be an honor to help facilitate a positive, bonding and self-nurturing experience for you and the people you live, play, pray or work with.
An Invitation to Collaborate!
Because of the adaptive nature and integrative potential of R.I.E. (and because we can travel -- by car!), we are also looking to collaborate with other Bay Area workshop leaders who would like to include a rich creative process (tailored to their specific needs) as part of their offering -- whether it be a weekend workshop, a week-long retreat or a staff training. Mireya, for example, a seasoned and Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator, will be using R.I.E. as an integrative part of the Holotropic Breathwork process in an upcoming weekend workshop in December. (Contact Mireya for more details: mireyaam@gmail.com) If our art-immersion practice could somehow deepen and expand the wonderful work you're already doing with your workshop participants, we would be thrilled to join forces.
RIE for ADULTS AND CHILDREN!!!! (Special events)
So far, RIE has provided us adults with a wonderful opportunity to sink in and nourish ourselves, playing and dancing (and sometimes doing nothing!) to our heart's content. Over these past months, several of our participants have said how much they'd love to share this experience with their kids. (Some of our kids have insisted on trying this out too! Maya, Rosy's daughter, in particular!)
So our intention with our AFTERNOON CHILD-ADULT sessions is to give you and your child a chance to dance, make music, and explore the arts together. Because we want to facilitate a certain level of intimacy and harmony in the environment, we ask that each child is joined by a parent (or beloved adult!) who can really surrender to a co-creative process, and that the children who come be 6 or older (and interested in art!).
During these practices, we keep the same basic structure, but the process lasts 2 hours instead of the usual 2 and 1/2. We ask that each child-adult pair make a donation between $20-50.
